Can I drink if my husband is an alcoholic?

If you are married to an alcoholic does that mean that you cannot drink ever? I like to once in a while have a beer but I do not drink all the time.

I am separated for one year from my husband but we started back dating in March and he did quit totally drinking hard liquor (Vodka) but he drinks beer all weekend. Especially on Sundays and I have refused to be with him when he starts drinking so much and I have had to leave and go back to my apt. when he does.

I love him so much but I cannot deal with him when he gets drunk...usually ends up passing out early. So yesterday I found that he had drank 6 or 7 beers between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and found another 12 pack in the refrigerator. We were about go grill out when I found this and told him that I was leaving because I knew where this was heading. He blew up at me and said some stupid stuff so I got my things and left.

I really do love him but I cannot live with the weekend binges. During the week he is ok. Just Friday, Sat. and Sunday does his drinking get abusive. I just do not know what to do. I cannot live with him or be around him when he drinks all day but I love him and when he has only drank a little he is fine. Just need some advise....
